Aimee Davidson Bought James Franco

"We exchange ideas and dreams as currency in the New Economy."Buyer of James Franco's $10,000 Invisible Artwork Revealed: Remember art provocateur James Franco's Museum of Non-Visible Art? The actor teamed up with the art duo Praxis to raise funds for a museum in which all artworks are invisible (as in, they exist only in the mind). One patron purchased the most expensive invisible work, "Conceptual — Fresh Air," for $10,000. Now, the Huffington Post has identified the buyer as young Montreal web producer, social media marketer, model, and actor Aimee Davison. In an interview with the site, Davison is admirably straightforward about her motivation to invest in the piece: "I wanted to participate in the controversy and possibly benefit from it," she said. Mission accomplished: the rest of the interview focuses on Davison's own project, called "One Hundred Jobs," in which she attempts to complete 100 different jobs paying a minimum of $100 each. - ARTINFO
