Richard Stratton

Former Sony music big Tommy Mottola has a documentary in the works. The film about the Casablanca Records honcho is nearing completion, according to sources, and is being shot by director Richard Stratton, who's also co-authoring Mottola's upcoming tell-all, "The Last Starmaker." Sources said that the doc, which is backed in part by VH1, will include concert footage and appearances by Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Clive Davis and Randy Jackson, among others. "The doc is of Tommy's life, but also documents the history of music, from Elvis to the iPod," said a source. - NY Post
